I got hansoft at work today but I have a question. I've printed out lesson plans with my own ideas written on them for the next 2 weeks, I'm ahead of myself.
My co-teacher talked about me typing out lesson plans on 'word' earlier this week, but I said I wouldn't do that until I got hansoft because my lesson plan is the same as the book apart from the let's review, practice and play sections.
Now that I have hansoft, when me and the co-teacher discuss the lesson plan for the following week, if she mentions again my lesson plan has handwriting on it, should I just say, 'well I printed it out before I got hansoft and will only amend them once the lesson plans I printed out have been done'.
I can't be bothered to do all the same lessons again, I've already planned for them. |

Thank you. I've already downloaded and saved all of them. Now I have all of the material for every grade. |

Well, my co-teacher acts like she takes ages planning lessons, but all she does is print out lesson plans, identical to the book with her own ideas added on.
That's what I'll do too.
I got the hangul viewer but apparently you can't save or copy and paste anything from that, which is a waste of time.
My co-teacher said they have an external guy who initially installed all of the software, and it seems it would be a hassle to get him in just for this.
I think long term I need hangul software installed on my laptop at home or on my pc at work.
Anyway, the good news is instead of taking ages typing my own lesson plan, I will print out these lesson plans, and make additions by hand or print it out on my co-teachers pc, or one downstairs when I can be bothered/or have spare time.
The lesson plans are always just the book with our own ppt ideas for let's review and our own ideas for let's play.
I am now so tired of the demanding nature of Koreans, I make it obvious I will do the bare minimum and make my ideas as rubbish as possible, to help my co-teacher realize I don't care very deeply about this job, it's the money and apartment I love. |
And what happens if you leave this job and can't get another one because as seems likely you'll be given bad references?
No GOOD school is going to want to hire you without checking references...more then likely you'll end up at another school with people who don't want you there and only want the money they get. And that's if GEPIK or EPIK or whatever program you are under, doesn't get fed up with you and blacklist you from ever working for them again. |

This is brilliant. I feel like I just got out of many many hours of work. |

I agree. I only teach Grade 4, 5, and 6 this semester. That's two thirds of the work done already. |
