If I were better at that type of writing I'd do it, but I think somebody with more skill should write a letter to the Korea Herald about today's paper.

How amazing that they couldn't have gotten an emergency edition or at least a supplement on the Suddam story, even though the news broke at 9:00 PM last night. I was particularly aggravated to see the Korean newspapers were utterly full of stories and photos. They didn't even cut out stories about Iraq that virtually mean nothing in light of yesterday's events.

they put that paper to bed around 4-5PM so I wasn't suprised when I got my copy and nothing was in it.

Another good reason to pay the extra money and subscribe to the IHT

If it doesn't affect Korea directly, then it doesn't get into the paper. Besides the only thing that Koreans care about concerning the war is protesting it.

Dude!? Are we reading the same Korea Herald or was I tripping hardcore this morning?

The Korea Herald had Saddam's unshaven mug on the cover with a 1/2 page feature story! I picked it up at around 10am this morning.

I hope to God you got an old edition or I am literally going insane. My class even talked about the picture and we joked about him looking like a young Santa Claus.

Are you serious!? Oh man, they must have gotten a quick edition out to Seoulites (I take it you're in Seoul? I live about an hour south of Seoul near Suwon. That's probably why. Damn! I wonder what' I'll get tomorrow. I had Monday's paper, I just checked. What the hell is that crap!?

Surprisingly, the Canadian sports network (TSN.ca) headlined Saddam's capture for hours whereas Sports Illustrated (CNNSI.com) had NOTHING about it, yet their site was updated often, with up-to-date baseball trades and football injury info. The mystery is compounded by the fact that SI is a CNN sports coverage affiliate.

"I say, Pip old boy, is that one of those Al Quaeda chaps emerging from that cave?"

"Why I believe it 'tis, Winston!"

"Jeeves, be a good man and let loose the hounds, hmm?"

"As you wish, sir."

"Sally forth!"

don't worry Shawner, I too got the "Saddamless" copy. Me and my co-workers were wondering what time they must have went to press to miss out on news like that.

NOT TO MENTION THE EDITING!! that paper is always lacking in that.
