I just got home from work and I need to mail several boxes out. I'm not sure I'll have enough time before close of business today. Is the post office open on Saturdays? I've googled it and done a search here and haven't found the answer. Thanks.

i believe they're closed on the weekends, but they will only accept EMS mail or parcels until noon on saturdays.

The big branches are open on Saturday until 1 p.m., but the smaller post offices are closed. You can do the usual post office business on Saturdays, but the bank part of the post office is closed.

If you are living in Seoul ... The post office in Gwanghwamun in the centre of the city is open on Saturday morning. I used it last year when I had parcels to send and Saturday was the only time I could get near a post office. It is very close to the subway station just acros the road from the Kyobo building - so easy to get to. I found a list at some stage last year of the handful of post offices which opened on Saturday ... but that was the one which was easiest for me to get to (I lived outside of Seoul at the time) I can't remember where the others are. But most post offices are closed on Saturday.

The one at Gwanghwamun Headquarters used to be open 24/7. Not sure about nowadays. Anyone?

this forum is almost 3 years old and info could have changed since then.....so are any post offices still open on Saturday? Is Gwanghwamun still open on Saturdays?

Anybody know about post offices outside of Seoul like Seongnam or Yongin?

I need to get to a post office but I work during post office hours and don't have time to leave work.

Is there a website that would give a comprehensive list of post offices open on Saturday till 1pm? I need to send out a few packages...
