|
|
I'm selling my Gaggia Coffee espresso machine. It makes very good espresso. I bought it a couple years ago but never used it much since I like my lever espresso machine more.
It comes with a 58mm portafilter, and single and double baskets. The pictures are all from today. It was recently descaled, but needs to have a few more litres of water flushed through the boiler to get rid of the bits of residual scale left after descaling. It's only seen bottled water in the past two years. Before that it was in Italy, and while the seller said it was only bottled water, I can't say for sure.
The pump works well and puts out good volume, more than 65ml in 15 seconds. The spring clip in the portafilter is strong, and the boiler pots out a lot of steam. The only gripe I have with the machine is that the steam wand is drippy; I just keep an extra steam jug under it to catch the drips. Other than that, it's tip top. No rust and no internal leaks, though of course it does have scuffs and whatnot here and there.
The steam wand seepage could be fixed by changing the gaskets, but since the other gaskets are all fine, I haven't bothered.
The color of the machine is actually what you see in the bottom two pictures.
[Edited to add] I've also got a tamper for it that goes with the machine.
No reasonable offer refused. The machine's in Ilsan.
The water is clean and clear from the group.

I ordered it from Italy. It's a La Pavoni Europiccola. |

Costco has a great deal on an expresso machine here in Seoul. I believe the brand is Delonghi. |
