Has anyone ever booked and paid their flight home, received the money from their school for the flight and then canceled the flight, got their refund and then flew somewhere else?
How easy was it to do this and get your money back? |

When you learn to spell it is pretty straight forward. |

I did it. Bought my refundable ticket (told the school beforehand that I was purchasing a refundable and how much) and as soon as they gave me the money I canceled the ticket. Actually, I never bought the ticket. I told the travel agency my plan and they just had me pay the cancellation fee and gave me a receipt for the ticket to show the school. (still had to call to cancel though.)
