Yeah, it's sad when our friends and other young people die. Especially if they die of disease like diabetes, leukemia, cancer.
I'd imagine that it would be easy to have a disease while living here, (not gain a disease, but if you are living abroad a long while and don't get complete checkups etc) realizing you are somewhat sick but not doing anything about it, until one day, collapse and out.

I think the reason why the school didn't say anything for several days is maybe the school has a bad reputation and has a problem with teachers pulling a midnight run and since they didn't hear from that particular teacher for awhile, they thought he might've done the same............

I wouldn't want to find a person in that state again.....................never..........

It's common place in Thailand for foreigners to die.

Don't see why it's such big news here. Foreigners die everywhere.

It would be great if some of my students had desire to be a pathologists (coroner) instead of "fashion designer" or "CEO". Something this country really needs..

I met some kids in Iksan who knew this guy. They seemed to think suicide. No foul play, just a lonely guy.

I also heard them mention somthing like he had gotten fired a bit beforehand, but I'm not completely sure.

There was a bunch of angry stuff going back and forth on facebook about it with the other foreigners apparantly.

I talked to my friend, who lives in the vicinity of Iksan........the gentleman who recently departed was his replacement at the hogwon he left back in the day.......and yeah....according to him, the guy was pretty lonely........
