I am using an old dell laptop at the moment and will not have the money to upgrade for a while.
I would like to watch movies on my tv from the laptop however there is no s-vid nor rca out, only a vga. The tv only has rca in.
Is there a cable which goes from vga to rca? I have googled and have got conflicting answers some say yes, while others say I will need a scan converter??
If there are cables to do so how much won am I looking at? or will I need some kind of converter?
Cheers for your help |

Since the signals are different (going from digital to analog) you'll need a converter box and not just a cable. Plus you'll need cables to hook up the audio from your laptop to the other two RCA jacks. I see a few places online selling them but didn't look to see what country they're in. |

Yes, that looks like it. You will also need cables to route the sound. |
