Problems here:

A few weeks back I got an error stating that my computer did not recognize my DVD drive (which it had recognized before). It gave the error of "code 10"

To solve, I deleted iTunes (after it had been installed in a download), and all was well.

SP1 gave me back iTunes and the "code 10" error as well, only this time it's in the speakers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drives a number of times (as well as SP1) and still my computer seems hit and miss if it'll read those dam speakers.

Do you use any sort of vista tweaking software. Sometimes that messes w/ the registry but it's not difficult to fix.

What mainboard do you have? Make/model? Onboard sound, I assume?

Code 10 is a driver-specific error.
