| I was asked today by another school that i worked for to give my Alien Reg number for tax purposes. The prob is I didn't work there legally and now am worried a bit about Immigration. The job was short and I didn't believe my current school would give permission. Do you think Immigration will find out? |

If you worked there illegally, why would they need your Alien Reg number for tax purposes?
Something sounds fishy. Either they got caught and are giving you up, or they are just incredibly stupid. I don't know why Immigration would find out though...unless they share information with the tax people.
I should think you'd be fine, given the incompetence I've noticed in various departments. Hopefully things will work out. |
