Has anyone had any good experiences with a DMZ tour that isn't the USO? I know USO is the way to go, but they aren't doing a tour on the specific date that I need.

Cheers.

Of course there are lots of tour operators out there. I couldn't make the USO tour date or meeting place, I went with another operator I found doing a google search. I believe it was about 75 -100 bucks including lunch in an a/c mini bus. There were people from N.A, Europe, Japan, China and South Africa on it. It was well worth it. No problems at all.

I actullay took a subway train from seoul station to that last station at the DMZ. There is a korea tourist office there that does tours. It was all fairly cheap. We went to the Third Tunnel then the bus stopped at a restaurant for the koreans to each kimchi and then continued to a few other places to view North Korea. Tour was all in Korean, but it was worth the money.
