Watching that film reminds me of 9/11 and all the conspiracy theories around it.
You know. Create disaster to later control the masses.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the riots are being pained out by some higher up.
But that's just me and my love of CT's.
meh. |

I've always wanted to follow and document the coming-of-age when a nationalist Korean finally travels outside of Korea and learns about the world from other sources (not group tours, but actually getting into another culture's rhythm). It may turn out like many American tourists, unfortunately. |

This guy, like Komerican who posts on this board is quite possibly a tool of the communist North and at worst an agent thereof, as their proxies here (the KTA and the DLP) have been the ones behind the mass hysteria. I say someone should trace their IP addresses and report them to the relevant national security bodies. Oh yeah, and Jay sounds like he's lived in the US forever with that accent, yet he still refers to Lee as "our president". Make up your mind where your loyalties lie, you filthy fifth colomnist scumbag. |

Man...and I thought Bush thought me and all my fellow Americans were stupid. Again, I don't think Koreans should be forced to eat something they don't want to. Let them continue to eat "Spam" so I can eat my cheap US beef. And the "orangee" lady was a riot. Lee's gang makes Bushy's gang look like a bunch of choir boys. How did democracy ever come to the point where the biggest freakin crooks are the ones pulling our strings. |

The propaganda was really stunning, and out and out jaw dropping, when he said the Alzheimer disease has increased 9000 percent (an insane, made up statistic) among Americans, and implied it was linked to mad cow disease.
This is the most disgraceful, despicable form of fear mongering. It is true Alzheimers has increased slightly, but a quick google reveals that it's a result of changing diagnostic methodologies and the fact that you have the baby boomers hitting old age, so you have massively more old people, susceptible to alzheimers.
Once that guy spouted that, I realized he was utterly, completely full of it. I have a great job and love my students. But when I hear utter lies like that, I mean completely ludicrous lies told by someone who spent a lot of time preparing a video, I really worry about these people.

I think you guys are being put on. That video has like 7,000 hits. I posted a video of my Grandma eating flapjacks and it got more that 22,000. |

Actually there's an American guy that you can link off that video who has a video complaining about anti-Americanism.
He's a gotta classic, New Jersey type Sopranos accent. He had 10k hits. |

Jay Kim! Jesus: 'The year started off with a f*cking crazy thing.' The tool needs a bar of soap forcing down his filthy mouth. The narration was absolutely terrible. I can't believe he drew a comparison between the Japanese occupation and the holocaust. What a complete knobend.

I don't know about all that but why is this poster Gollywog getting so precisely worked up? |

as per the professionalism of it... lots of people that are not professionals can make a movie of that quality.
And besides... do you know how many people go to school for this sort of thing, combined with those that do it as a hobby.
I could easily either learn the skills to do it myself, or pay some smoe a shot of tequila to do it for me.
It's not like supply is limited out there.
The video was not well done. I have seen videos done better by high school kids. |

Gollywog, you've got to be one of the most offensive trolls I've seen recently.
Racist username, and ridiculous scaremongering posts.
Where do you get the information that this video, which I agree is terrible, is being shown to kids?
The title of this thread is misleading, and you seem determined to stir up anti-Korean sentiment in all the threads you create. |

I hope they haven't shown it to my elementary kids.
The youngsters have a very good attitude to me and the daily smiles/greetings of the students are one of the things that makes it worth getting out of bed in the morning.
thats one reason i don't teach middle school: the parents and media have started to fill the kids heads with anti-foreigner stuff by that age. |
