Right, i'm looking at taking the plunge and moving to Korea(or China), however I am just wondering what they look out for on the medical. This might sound stupid for which I apologise in advance, but I suffer from Asthma, albeit not that severely but was wondering if this would count against me? Barring this I am generally fit and healthy as I go to the gym 4 times a week and play football (soccer) twice a week, your responses will be appreciated.
Thanks |

I heard the Korean Immigration will do a blood test on you (for HIV and drugs) but I do recall something about the x rays for your lungs- I really don't think your asthma would be a big deal but I guess talk to your recruiter/school and see what they have to say. |

It won't matter. They only scan your lungs for TB and perhaps for very serious illnesses that could cost the NHIC. You don't have TB, do you? |
