Video shows a few foreigners in the crowd. Maybe they're reading this now? Maybe not. Whatever. Metallica isn't my favorite but I do like this song and the video quality is good. Looks like it was a fun time.

5:19 and on is the best part of the video.

It was a great show! Tool opened up for them, which was great, but those are 2 very different bands.

Anyway, Metallica is getting old, but they still put on a high energy show.
The addition of Robert Trujillo on bass has really injected some energy into them.
It was the 20th anniversary of Master of Puppets, so they played most of the songs from it- I couldn't have asked for more. I couldn't believe they played "Orion"! I think it was the first tour they did it since Cliff Burton's death. They played all the old, great songs and the crowd was really into it. I was singing along like I was 15 again- real trip down memory lane!

One good thing is they know their new album St.Anger is not well liked, so they only played 2 songs off it. That was a wise choice.

Overall, even though I'm not much of a Metallica fan anymore, I would definitely go see them again.

I was there. Tool is one of the greatest bands and one of my all time favorite bands. I was disappointed at their short set, lack of their trademark visuals and what seemed to be a lack of energy. Metallica blew away my expectations and made up for Tool's disappointment.

Thanks for the video, Lekker.

Metallica played a free concert in Philadelphia in 97. Just walk up to Ticketmaster and ask for Metallica tickets, get three for free!

I'm not really a fan, but still, their new bass player is probably the best out of all three they've had and I really like his other bands, Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. No Joke, the guy is amazing.

Anyhow, Orion is in my head all day, has been in my head for days now, still not getting tired of it.

Cue the die hard Cliff Burton fans.

I had a friend a few years ago that wore a shirt reading "Who died and made you Cliff Burton?"
