I am addicted to these Hello Kitty magnets from 7-11, I don't know why, but I want the whole collection!

Can anyone tell me when the promotion ends?
Also I'm wondering if it is like when you collect those sticker books and you can write in and pay some small amount to complete the collection....?

If anyone is interested in trading doubles let me know!

Okay, so I was going to start a thread about this, but was worried if I was alone.

I love right beside a 7-11 and know the people who work there pretty well. I walk in some nights and just grab some for free. I got about 25 of them.

Still haven't found Canada, Australia, England or U.S.A. yet,
Ryan

P.S. I got Mexico and Sweden in over-abundance.

Your interest in Hello Kitty is a sign that you have been here too long! Laughing

ha-ha, i purposefully went in there today to buy things I didn't need so that I could get more. Today I got Sri Lanka, Paraguay, and Singapore.

it would be way cooler if the Hello Kitty on the magnet was dressed in the traditional costume of the country. even the colours don't match. My Aussie magnet is blue and yellow.

The lady in the store near my hogwan gave me about 50 because I told her my students liked them.
I gave them all to my students as rewards for whenever they did something well.

Anyone know where I can find a list of 7-11 stores in Seoul? I don't think there are any in the Anam or Korea univ area...

So that's where they came from! One of the Japanese majors at my school is obsessed with Hello Kitty and brought me a couple of the magnets as a gift (doubles, I assume). That explains where they came from, I guess.

Wings...the promotion ends in July. I have Macau, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Chile and Germany. I plan to get some and send to my Mom and Dad, too...hehehe...hohoho The magnets represent the World Flower festival, so each one has a country and its flower name. So cute!

To Yawarakaijin: typo humor is never funny. The 'o' button is clearly right beside the 'i' button. As my students say, "Not funny teacher."

To Purple Crayon: I have numbers 40 and 41. Number 41 is Deagu and my friend has number 43, which is Busan.

I have to assume it ends very soon, i.e. July as someone pointed out, since the pile at my local 7-11 is getting very small. I might ask for the last dozen. I will work on my noon-e-epoo-da... or something like that.

Ryan

Edit: I have Sweden, Zimbabwe, Mexico and Malaysia up for grabs if anyone wants them. One-for-one trades of course. Cool
