As usual, the search feature isn't working. I'm probably going to bus it from Itaewon to the airport on Thursday afternoon when it's time to go, but I'm contemplating the taxi option. Any recent information on what the fare ought to be? I'm willing to spend a bit because celebration is in order and it's also going to be my birthday weekend (nice present to myself, eh?), but I don't want it to be ridiculous, you know? Thanks. |

It will be between 70,000-80,000 won for a taxi. The airport limousine bus is only 14,000 won and can be caught across the street from Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon. |

yeah, the bus is your best bet - probably safer too. |

With the bus lanes, it is often faster too. |

Hmm. I'm leaving Korea for good (do I hear cheers and wild applause?) and I've got 5 bags. Schlepping them all down to the bus stop would be kind of a nightmare and my deodorant would probably quit working. Hmm. Decisions, decisions. Thanks for the info! |

ummm.... pay the cab 5k to help you get to the bus stop (they do it all the time) and then 14k for the bus to the airport.
Least time, least effort, least cost and most efficient. |

You can call a Call Van. They come straight to your place and also they have a flat rate to the Airport. It doesn't matter if you are stuck in traffic for hours, you will pay the same.
Cheaper than a taxi too. |

I'd take a short cab to yongsan or mapo and get the airport bus from there. You'll avoid a lot of the traffic the Itaewon-Incheon bus gets caught up in. |

It was 47,000 from HBC. Definitely the easiest option, since I had 5 bags. Not much traffic either.
Thanks everyone, and happy trails. |
