|
|
Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me. Every time I turn on my computer, I get the white screen of death. There's a picture of a file in the middle of the screen with a question mark in it.
Does anyone know what this means? Is there an apple mac store in Seoul?
I would be really grateful if someone could help.
Thanks! |

Hi, that means that your mac can't find a bootable system. It could also mean that your drive is failing, so even if you fix it make sure to do regular backups.
Try booting with the software install CD or DVD that originally came with your mac and launch Disk Utilities to try to verify and repair the hard drive.
If you have a copy of Disk Warrior try that, it's saved me a couple of times by giving me enough time to recover the disk and back up the contents to a new drive. |

There's a Mac Store in Coex Mall that you might want to contact for help. |

There are some authorized resellers, but not official Apple Stores in Korea. If the previous suggestions don't work, try contacting an Apple Authorized Service Center. |
