Unless you are talking about a new brand of smoked pork belly at Home-Plus I fail to see how this relates to "living in Korea"...

Then again these Anti-Beef protests have a real Francis Bacon feel.
A screaming Korean man+ a big dead cow hanging on hooks= Francis Bacon.

It makes me think of the fact that England has produced countless visionaries and scientists who contributed to world knowledge. And the fact that Korea, with a similar population, has yet to produce even one person of Bacon's standing.

A country called the hermit kingdom isn't known for its international prestige.

the writer/ philosopher/scientist/ interesting character. The guy has the most bizarre cause of death I've ever heard of- at least according to his biographer

Quote:
he was. . . journeying to Highgate through the snow with the King's physician when he is suddenly inspired by the possibility of using the snow to preserve meat. "They were resolved they would try the experiment presently. They alighted out of the coach and went into a poor woman's house at the bottom of Highgate hill, and bought a fowl, and made the woman exenterate it". After stuffing the fowl with snow, he contracted a fatal case of pneumonia.

Not "who" but "what". I think of how long it's been since I've eaten a BLT.

Samgyopsa doesn't cut it.
