I'm taking a week trip to gangwando and was wondering what all there is to do there? Any suggestions would be great. Also, for all thos Busanites, which bus terminal is the best way to get to the area, Nopodong or Sasang terminal? Thanks!

Check out Seorak-san. Great place for hiking. Very scenic. If you stay in Sokcho, you can climb the mountain in the morning and go swimming in the sea in the evening.

Or

Go to Wonju and check out Chiak-san. Nice place with cool mountain streams and several beautiful temples, the most well-known being Guryong-sa.

Or

Check out Chunchon, city of lakes. Good for Dalkgalbi.

Or

Try 강릉 (sorry, don't know how to correctly romanize that one - it's pronounced 'Gangneung'). Great beaches.

Or

Give the Taebaek a shot. Mountains and nature and not so many people.
