I've never seen a post about where to buy hummus. There are several about making your own.

You can get a take-out order order from

http://www.marakechnight.com

It's up on the hill across the street from McDonalds. You have to order the pita bread separately...otherwise you'll get tortilla.

You are an Ahole. You give Saffers a bad name. You have been nothing but confrontational and have offered no good advice. I think you are DW's sock.

You are truly an idiot. This board is to help people, but posters like you turn it into a b.itch fest.

The buffet at the "Foreign Restaurant", on the left toward what the book just past hooker hill, has an endless amount of hummus as well as naan, lamb curry, chicken tandor, fish curry etc etc. So so good.

Jeez! What a bunch of babies!

What is this website going to look like if Korea invites thousands of college dropouts to come teach?

At any rate, if anyone finds chickpeas, canned or preferably dry, and tahini, for sale online in Korea, please post!

The earlier threads claiming to have do it yourself tahini recipes were no substitute for the real thing.

Dunno, might raise the level of the dialectic a bit.

Oh i saw tahini in shinsegae, and also i saw some of those ajummas selling dried chickpeas on the street. You just need lemons (essential),salt and pepper and olive oil and you're cooking on gas mate. I used to make the stuff all the time back in uni. It rocks on toast.

I'm eating it right now!

Easy to make - get the tahini from the Muslim shop near What's the book....up the hill from the main drag in Itaewon. Chick peas by the bag too, super cheap (one of the few cheap things there!, Beware!). Soak 'em overnight for best eating and make sure to take the skins off before whipping....simply rub them in your hands and shuck them, as you lovingly sing some Khaled....

I would also recommend the buffet and hummous at the Morrocan restaurant in Itaewon. He gets it right with a nice balance of flavors. I sometimes bring my own olive oil for added texture (can be too dry for my liking.).

That's my two cents worth. make sure you have a girl/boyfriend/significant other that understands the after effects....

Are you just trying to make me jealous?

I repeat, if anyone finds a Korean website offering chick peas and tahini, please post.

And hold the BS recipes for fake tahini.
