Don't have sisters, Mom never touched the stuff. My girlfriends bathed regularly so there was no need to spray something on to cover up the funk.

To the op

Is there another form of anti-stink in the area for him to use? Would you have complained if he left it a stink?

Your mom and your girlfriends are most definitely not the typical woman. Perfume is not used to cover up funk either. Do you aftershave in a place of a shower?

Every guy in the world has on at least one occasion used a little more cologne than normal after over sleeping. So, yes.

Not to be pedantic, but the implication(bolded) was that u only use it in place of a shower. I don't think that is the case. Most women I know use perfume regularly. Not in the place of a shower on an odd occasion.

Never have used aftershave. I don't use shaving cream either, just rub a bit of soap on my face and pull out the bowie knife.

Maybe he was confused. Does the bottle say: "eau de toilette" anywhere on it?

First page of this thread is brilliant.

If he didn't know it was expensive, then yes, you were overreacting.
