| The litigation argument is BS. I have never heard of a website operator being sued because of someone posting a picture. I have heard of a website operator being sued for someone posting a picture and not removing it after being told it was copyrighted, infammatory etc. The mods need to get their collective sh!t together. I have been using this site since 1999 and the way it's heading now is not to my liking. Shame on you Dave! |

I Agree, if they want to make this site strictly for Teaching english related stuff, then close everything else down whats the point of having a forum
DUH!
just open one room, the job forum and close everything else down!
simple really..
yes I think DAVES is slowly running out its course, once a webiste opens where the forum is big enough and good moderators run it I will jump ship
the new mods here are just lazy! they would rather disable a function than moderate posts of pictures.. |

Isn't peppermint an admin over there?
Went there a few times, but didn't like tone of the posters (not that I like everyone here). |

Actually, I don't know the other place, or at least not the current incarnation of it, so I don't post wherever it is under a different name... But if the previous ones are any indication, I don't want to -- two posts into any thread and there is a devolution in random insults. |
