The 19" Wide Monitor is from a company called MOTV. It has inputs for TV, VGA, DVI, Standard Video, S-Video, and Audio. This monitor also has Stereo Audio Output as well as an earphone jack. This monitor is nice since you can watch TV on it, you can connect your laptop or computer as well as your gaming console or DVD player or whatever. I also have the remote control for this monitor.
PM me or send me an email at dunebuggy78 @ yahoo . com
Here is a link so that you can see the monitor and speaker set. if you are interested i can send more pictures or provide more information.

Also, he would get 500 (50 more) if he sold his stuff separately. If someone isn't going to pay 450, what makes you think you can get 500? 250/100 would make more sense. |

be realistic if you want to sell your things here. this is no yongsan or techno, or other organised market.
if you want that price take it to them.
100 for me |

spliff, the monitor has a lot of inputs and i paid a bit for it. i figured that 200 for a monitor that you can use with you laptop AND watch tv on AND play your games on is well worth it. pretty convenient if you ask me. plus i paid well over 300 for it. but what do you think is a reasonable price for it?
jadarite, it's a simple marketing concept called "bundling" check it out. it makes sense if you only just think about it...it's good for both parties.
jamesvean, i have no idea what you are talking about. have you ever tried to sell something to a vendor at those places? "100 for me" like i said, i have no idea what you are talking about. get your head out of your ass...please
if any one is interested let me know. i'm more than willing to make a REASONABLE offer |

No, this is what would be good for both parties:
(Example only)
Item A for 50 dollars
Item B for 50 dollars
Items A and B "bundled" for 90 dollars
What you did was increase the price not decrease it. What you need to do first is legitimize each cost (like with Item A, provide a link and then do the same with B).
Then when you have established the cost for each, bundling sounds like a deal. However, if your first offer is something ridiculously high for both bundled and then offer to sell them individually at an even higher price, you'll get comments like you did.
Here is a link to show you, http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2938149&cp=&sr=1&origkw=xbox&kw=xbox&parentPage=search
"This Xbox 360 bundle comes with everything you need for a premium gaming experience. It includes an Xbox 360 console with 20GB hard drive, wireless controller, headset, component HD A/V cable, Ethernet cable and an Xbox LIVE Silver membership. It also includes two great games, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2."
(Dollars expressed in American dollars)
Price as new, $349.99
Your asking price, $300.00
That is about 85.75% of the retail price. Why should you get that much for a used product? 75% would get you $261.75 If someone was only willing to pay 50%, then that would be $174.50
So, no, it wouldn't be "good for both parties" unless the buyer didn't do their homework and was completely oblivious to the actual cost.
Next...
Your monitor, http://www.gseshop.co.kr/prd/prd.gs?prdid=2836524§id=326609
Without their discount, 249,000 won
Your asking price, 200,000 won
That is about 80% and 85.5% compared to their discount price. 75% would get you either 185,000 won or 175,275 won. If someone was only willing to pay 50%, then that would be either 124,500 won or 116,850.
Now, let's use some logic. Should I pay the discount price at the store, save money and have a new product or go to you and get a used product at a higher price? Hmm....not too difficult here.
So, if you want to sell it, use at least the discount price. I have found 75% is a good guideline to follow with electric or electronic items bought within the past few years (this all depending on their condition of course).
Taking the above info, $261.75 for the xbox and 175,275 won for the monitor, we get something around 435,000 won. You want that? I suggest starting a bid at 350,000 won and find out who wants it. Or, you can be stubborn and hold out for that extra 13%. If someone doesn't do their homework, then they might be gullible enough. Let's see. |

bundling:
xbox + games = 300
Monitor = 200
Both plus speakers and 1 month of xbox live = 450
i'm not sure where the misunderstanding is. i did drop the cost. i even threw in a speaker set and a coupon for a month of free xbox live.
Pricing:
somebody might be willing to pay maybe not. i think most vendors that are willing to negotiate begin with a higher price and work down in efforts to compromise.
also, it might not be the best to provide a link from a US vendor as the xbox in korea is a bit more expensive. here is a link from the GS estore (the same place you found the price for the monitor similar to mine)
http://www.gseshop.co.kr/prd/prd.gs?prdid=2547690&gsid=Srcheshop-result
discounted xbox360 with bundled games 370,000 (if you have a LG card to get the discount - do you have one?)
also, the monitor i have for sale is the same as the one you linked to. except mine is a wide screen. so i don't think that link is very valid. couldn't find my monitor on the gs estore site. but the site says 246,000 for a standard 19" with TV plugs and all, i suppose the same monitor that is wide screen would be a bit more.
thanks for the long winded post. if you aren't interested in the item for sale, please don't waste my time...or yours. unlike you i have an interest in this item and don't need to waste my time clearing up things for people that don't take time to read the original post. thanks for your suggestions on selling online...but no thanks. |

You get a month free of xbox live when you sign up anyway.
And you also get the month cards free when you send your xbox in for servicing.
Has yours ever been in for servicing?
When was it purchased? What is the warranty left on it?
One month free of live isn't part of the bundle. You are giving away something you got for free. |

Why do people argue when their false dream prices are shattered? Seriously, what do you expect to gain? |

Since there is a site where you have to pay more for the same item, I am justifying my high price and ignoring the site you gave which shows the price much lower. |

jadarite: wow you're so clever
mrs quirrel: it still is a bundle since it's a part of the deal. but since you asked, no i bought it thinking i was going to use it but never was able to hook up with peeps that could 1) speak the same language or 2) were in the same time zone
demophobe: what the hell am i supposed to do when i have a bunch of dumb f#@s on this site that like to waste their time on something that they don't really care about. i'm just trying to sell my ish that's all. some people live on this site...maybe it's easier for them to make it harder for others. i dunno |

just stop posting.. people who are interested would actually PM you.
ignoring and not feeding them what they want to hear is the best course.
ie: you are wanting to reply to this saying something like, "I know.. but... blah blah blah." Don't, use PM. |
