Hi everybody, I am selling my NTSC-USA Nintendo Wii, it has been owned for about half a year, and it is in full working condition. I just don't have time to play it anymore and my Nintendo DS has been enough to satisfy my minor game cravings. Right now is a particularly exciting time for the Wii as the homebrew scene is starting to explode right now -- you can get things like ScummVM (LucasArts point-and-click adventures) to work. Also working nowadays is bootleg copies of Virtual Console and/or WiiWare games but I haven't tried those yet because of a lack of time...

It comes with the following:
- American Nintendo Wii w/ a D2B DVD-ROM ($250 Value)
*Comes with console, composite cable, power cable, sensor bar, 1 Wiimote and 1 Nunchuk
- 1000 Wii Points, with 500 already spent on the Internet Channel ($10 Value)
* You can use the Internet Channel to watch Youtube videos Shocked
- an extra official American Wiimote ($40 Value)
- an extra official American Nunchuk ($20 Value)
- official Nintendo Wireless Gamecube Wavebird Controller ($45 Value)
* This product is discontinued so sells for a lot on eBay. Great for playing GameCube games and is compatible with some Wii games, for example Mario Kart plays more responsively than with a Wii controller.
- a 3rd-party 100-245V Power Supply w/ Asian plug adaptor ($20 Value)
* Thus it can be used in Korea AND America
- a 3rd-party 64MB Gamecube memory card ($5 value)
- a Wii carrying case ($15 value)
- a Wii stand w/ cooling fan and neon lights ($15 value)
* The features of this stand stopped working properly about a month ago. It connects to the Wii thru a Wii USB port, but somehow the connector to the stand somehow got loose. Still works if you plug the USB cord from the right angle but pretty much requires tape to keep it working. Essentially not working, but point is is that I used it to keep the Wii in good condition and extended the Wii's life by cooling and that the stand, even when not operating, looks cooler than the original Wii cheap@$$ plastic stand
- CD/DVD-ROM lens cleaner ($5 value)
* This is important for the Wii because the Wii is especially sensitive to dust, and even more so if it is equipped with a modchip
- 2 sets of 4 AA NiMH rechargable batteries (2300 mAH and 1850 mAH) ($10 value)
* The Wii eats through normal AA batteries so rechargables are recommended. Sorry no charger included.
- a pre-installed Wiikey modchip, updated to firmware v1.9g ($30 value)
* This chip came with the authentic hologram so it is not a Wiikey clone. There is a new firmware out (1.9s) but apparently it is only needed if you want to play a RETAIL version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl
- cost for installation of the modchip ($65 value)
* Was professionally installed with wiring, so that if you want to change the modchip to another one, it can be done easily.
- a 16MB SD card ($1 value? lol)
* The only use I had for this was that it is good for downloading saves off the internet and transfering them to the Wii. Can also be used for homebrew stuff

Also throwing in a buttload of backup games (if you valued each one at $5, the total value would be $115). They are all burned on high-quality Verbatim DVD-Rs, and all games are the American versions...
I handpicked many of these games (meaning I've actually tried 50+ games but only kept these ones because they're good); they're actually fun either for parties or for single player games. If you want to request to add any games (Wii or Gamecube) that is possible but of course it'd be extra Razz

***GREAT PARTY GAMES*** --> comes with many save games that have all/most mini-games/characters/stages unlocked for parties
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 1
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
- Mario Party 8
- Smarty Pants
- Cooking Mama: Cook Off
- Sega Superstar Tennis
- Ghost Squad
- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
- WarioWare: Smooth Moves
- Wii Sports
- Mario Kart Wii
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
- Boom Blox
- Super Smash Brothers Brawl (note: this is a dual-layer DVD game and thus usually has reading problems on the Wii. this is a well documented problem, even with unmodded Wiis and original Smash Brother games, just search on Google. best solution is to send Wii in for lens replacement (impossible because Wii is modded and warranty is dead), or to open up the Wii yourself and replace/clean/modify the intensity of the existing lens. the game still works but usually requires a couple tries and the skipping of the intro movie. there's also a single-layer version of this game floating around on the internet that enables multiplayer battles only.
***GREAT SOLO GAMES***
- Okami
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- No More Heroes
- Resident Evil 4: Wii edition
- Trauma Center: Second Opinion
- Trauma Center: New Blood
- Super Paper Mario
- Elebits

The Wii is already sold! Thanks a bunch!

Nice system. It's too bad you are so serious about the "no-shipping" policy. I'd be seriously interested if you could get this down to Busan.

Planning any trips to see some Busan friends in the near future? Wink

Sorry mate :/

However, if there are no takers in the next week or so, I'll consider shipping it out. You'd be the first to know.

HIHI!!!

I know you've already sold your wii.. but since you mentioned that you have an "american" wiimote and nunchuk... I was wondering if you know if there's actually a difference between the american version and the current korean one... like would a korean one work on an american wii?? ^^ thanks!!
