I have a F4 Visa, will be arriving in Korea in Sept. I won't be working for 6 months, but when I do start looking for a job Id like to know what documents I need. I plan to start at a Hagwon first

I've done some reasearch on here and I know I need the following.
-Transcripts
-Diploma

do they need to be sealed and notarized or that apostilled thing...

Also wondering if I need the CBC, Health Check, embassy interview etc...I searched but found a bunch of conflicting answers. thanks again Surprised

With an F-4, you don't need your transcripts when it comes to working at a hagwon. The transcripts are required for immigration. However you do need your diploma for the board of Education, as all hagwons have to report their teachers to them. As for the rest (health check, etc), it depends on the hagwons. Mostly, with an F-4, all you basically need is your diploma and a resume.

With public school jobs, smoe, epik, gepik, etc.. require your transcripts even though you have your F-4. I think it's just a guideline they are trying to set for everyone to hand in so that they don't have to deal with the headache of who needs and who doesn't need. You also need your CRC and health check as well.

As for hagwon addresses, you should realize that Korea is a country that doesn't really seem to know what the word address means. Yes, every building has an address, but if you ask someone for directions to a place, they will give you the nearest well-known landmark.

Technically, F-4s aren't allowed to teach without a diploma, but if your hagwon doesn't report the teacher to the education department, who is to know? I've seen many F-4s working without a diploma, however it doesn't mean it's legal.
