I've been searching online, but I'm not finding much right now. I'm trying to find an Environmental Chemistry program overseas, somewhere where I can teach English, and still go to school full time, or have the g/f work, while I study.
Anyone know of a program? Or maybe just a Chemistry program, which I'm sure are more available, where teaching English has a demand, and the cost of living isn't ridiculous like back in N.America.... |

In Asia, Hong Kong and Singapore are your best bet. Maybe Taiwan. I'd avoid post-sec in Korea. Don't know anything about China. I assume HKUST has appropriate programs, as do NTU and NUS in Singapore. The cost of living is not all that much lower than many Western states, unfortunately.
Maybe look to Sask and Manitoba in Canada? Or eastern Canada? Lower cost of living and a good mix of unis and trade schools. Also the Dakotas and Montana?
Some schools in Scandinavia and Germany (France too?) have very affordable tuition and cities more properly built for the pocketbook of a student. Don't know about esl there. |

I'll take a look into those programs. Thanks.
I'm only asking cause unless I take out another student loan, or the g/f lands a kick ass job somewhere, the possibility of living comfortably while in school, and studying just wont happen.
Got some more searching around to do, thanks for the input though! |

Chem.eng can be a very high paying vocation. The student loan is an investment. |
