Hello eveyone,
Thank you for the kind messages and I will relay them to his wife.
The email adress I gave was the wrong one it should read: [email protected]
This is not a put on by the way. Last I heard he was still unconcious in the ICU. I will ask his wife if she is confortable with giving out his hospital info.
By the way, Chris was on vacation in Canada for a while, he moved to Seoul to take up a new job with the government of Canada there, and I think this job starts in September or something. |

that's horrible. what happened to the drunk guy? hope he died. |
Drunks never die in the accidents they create....well almost never. I've heard/read quite a few stories where a drunk has wiped out an entire family (or near enough) only to walk away--literally--from the accident. It's so angering.
I hope Homer is OK, though. |

Oh. That's not good.
This is sick, because here's a guy taking care of himself and his family, and some jackass can't stay out of a car when he's been drinking.
I have a boy about the same age as Homer's guy, and I know his son must be having a rough time. Just my wife being in the hospital during our second child was hard on him. |

I didn't always agree with Homer but he was always civil and respectful of others; something of a rarity on these boards. I sincerely hope he recovers from this. |

I didn't always agree with Homer, but I did agree with about 70% of what he said. He is a very decent human being. He has high moral standards, he is a family man, and he is very dilligent and hard-working and dedicated to whatever he does. Homer is alive, he is breathing, he will come back. Just pray for him. |

Yikes - the guy couldn't even get bumped by an ajuma in Korea and he goes back to Canada for a few weeks and that happens.
Hope the Ontario medical system is good to him and his Kwife isn't too upset when she learns she can't come cook in his hospital room with 24 hours visiting hours. |

MOD EDIT
Everytime I think I'm used to the scumbags and classless lowlifes on this board, I get a reminder like this about the assholes that frequent here.
Real karma would be if you were hit by a drunk ajossi for suggesting that Homer was somehow deserving of being left unconscious in the hospital. |

MOD EDIT
You're a disgusting human being.
Wow. Homer liked Korea and defended it, yes, defended it a bit too much. But I'd say he was never rude, disrespectul, or antagonistic. For that, a husband and a father deserves to be on life support?
Go buy a gun and end your life. Now. |

Hello again.
I talked to Chris'wife on the phone about 30 minutes ago, it was barely 5am there but she was up. She is not willing to release his hospital information online. From what I see in this thread I can sort of understand. I do not mean the majority of comments but the disturbing minority of comments that have been made.
Any interested parties can still email or comment here. If it is here, I will pass it on to her.
She is doing as well as can be expected and their son is not doing so well as he seems to be taking this hard according to her.
Chris is still unconcious but she tells me the doctor says he is stable. He suffered a few fractures and some internal bleeding.
The guy who hit them is in custody but I know nothing else of what is happening.
I will try to keep the updates coming unless the distrubing comments become more numerous.
Thank you again to all of those who posted encouragements. |

MOD EDIT
Is that really necessary? Don't you have any class at all? I think the mods should keep a close eye on this thread. It's not the place for this. |
