I wonder if if they will charge a fee to play on a server (WOW) or a free server. I just hope they find a way to deal with dupes or any cheat (except map hack).

I still play occasionally BTW.

I think it will be a free server, they mentioned battle.net a few times....multiplayer will be similar to diablo 2...I agree I hope all the hacks get dealt with (even maphack...sure its great, but i'd prefer if no one uses it...and they implement some of the functions into the standard gameplay...)

They're launching a new Battle.Net, and it's a lot harder to get pirate games for online play now. You pretty much have to buy the game to get a valid MP key.

I never played multiplayer Diablo II. I only played through the single-player. Great fun!

What the heck do you do on multiplayer...blindly swing at each other until someone dies? I love the game, but there isn't much multi-player strategy that I can see.
