So, I'm re-signing with EPIK for another year any day now, but I'll be back home on holiday when my contract actually ends. Can anyone tell me when the completion bonus generally gets paid. Is it included in your final paycheck (17th of each month in my case) or, is it paid into your account on the last day of your contract?
Cheers. |

I am GEPIK but my "severance" has always been paid out on the payday following the end of the previous contract (on a renewal).
side note: It should be paid out on the last day of your contract if you are not extending your contract. |

Chief, when you get back off your contract break then you fill a form for your severance with a copy of your bank book. You will also fill out a form for the flight reimbursement, which you attach copies of your boarding passes and receipt of the flight that you took. This is all done when you get back, so don't get your hopes up about getting it before you leave. I did mine today and I'll be expecting the money anytime in the next two weeks. I've not heard of getting this sorted out before you fly home. It should be paid separately from your normal pay. |

^I wasn't banking on it for anything, just curious as to when they generally cough up. Cheers all the same Domer.
So, you're back for Act II (or is it Act III?) then Dome? I've heard that some FTs are known to experience the re-sign twang of regret during the first few weeks of re-signing. How's 'another year of it' feeling right now? Still feeling spikey? |

Act II. Actually feels really good, now that the jetlag has gone. All my students are pleased to see me as are the other teachers so it's all good. Best thing is there is only three weeks of classes and a couple of weeks of summer camps then I've got summer vacation for a couple of weeks. Hard life! Your break at home will fly by, I'm sure there'll be plenty planned, maybe even a trip to Lakota or is it gonna be Wetherspoons now? |

i was told by my last school that they had 2 weeks after my contract ended to pay me my severance (they were a bit screwy all year, but i think this is in the korean labour law, isn't it?) |

BS.Dos.,
Both times I completed contracts in your county, my severance pay was deposited to my account on the last day of the contracts.
