I hold an MA TESL, and am going to work for the language center of a university.
Can I get an E-1 visa? |

It is highly unlikely... you are a teacher of a foreign language working in a language institute attached to a university (E2), not a visiting professor (E1) working on staff in the university.

| Even if you are teaching in the regular university, immigration probably won't give you one. They even deny teachers at the top unis. |

Thanks for your replies.
I didn't think it was likely, but I recently read that the visa process for an E-1 is significantly easier so I figured it was worth asking. |
