Are Dells any kind of user friendly for upgrades? I want to increase the RAM or get a SSD for my Inspiron 6000. I'd like to try to do the work myself if that's possible. The warranty is already spent as far as I know as it is about 3+ years old. |

RAM should be easily upgradeable on any laptop. What's a SSD? |

You should certainly get a new mainboard and may want to upgrade the graphics. Switch out the LCD screen, get a new keyboard and heck, throw in a power supply while you're at it.
Post pics when you are done....please.
This may be of interest to you. |
