Pearl harbour....come on ....it's not even close.

That was the most tacky pathetic piece of americana I've ever seen. You could crush a red white and blue juke box that is playing elvis with a monster truck driven by a guy in a cowboy hat , and it'd be less tacky.

Take this line.

Alex Baldwin to Ben Affleck after he's done something reckless and stupid and tries to explain it away "That's B#llshit and you know it !"

pauses..with a knowing smile on his face...

"..but it's damn good bullshit !"

Ladies and gentlmen...the American psyche !

I find it hilarious that someone preaching the evils of a movie is able and willing to quote it.

Own the DVD, do you? Laughing

The worst on the OP's list is the Pirates of the Caribbean series, particularly 2 and 3. First one was decent, the others sucked.

You know...my home was only ever attacked once by armed burglars. They cracked my fathers head with the butt of their guns and put my mother and us in a closet. I was 5. I still remember their faces.

The point is traumatic events can enhance your memory. Watching pearl harbor was far more traumatic than the robbery.

"Wild Wild West," again starring the inimitable Will "I am NOT a Scientologist, but I respect the great Elron" Smith, should be one of the options. It was so impossibly lame it essentially sucked itself out of existence. Almost.
Do only the Ancient Ones like me remember it? C'mon, guys, think...think back to when you were like five, and lying in bed, and you heard this really scary massive roaring sucking noise that seemed to come from somewhere in the west, and you cried "mommy? is that the End of Days? Are we going to Heaven, now, mommy?" and she said "nah, kid, shaddap, it's just the Wild Wild West."

Wild Wild West had nothing on Battlefield Earth. Travolta at his worst.

Battlefield Earth...damn, I love that movie. It's so freaking bad. I hated Barry Pepper ever since, until I saw him in 'the Three Burials of Melqiades Estrada," which is awesome.

I saw him (Barry Pepper, that is) on a BC Ferry around the same time Battlefield Travolta came out. He was sitting next to me outside where people smoke, regaling his cute ladyfriend with tales of projects and productions. He referred to producers and directors and other actors only by their first name. The name John came up a lot as I recall.

I was just minding my business and all, and yet he was like five feet from me so it was like he was totally talking to me too. It seemed to me he was waiting for me to recognize him and ask for his autograph or something. Probably he wasn't, and I was just particularly hating celebrities that year... Anyway I was strongly tempted to ask him "hey, aren't you the guy who played the creepy beady-eyed sniper douchebag in 'saving private damon?'" but I didn't. Glad I didn't...that would've been horribly obnoxious.

Ok, though, Frankenshtein, I must admit, you got me there. At least WWW offered fleeting glimpses of Salma Hayek's boobs. Butterfried Earth had only Barry Pepper in hair extensions and a bloated purple Travolta. I swear the bastard thought he was in a McDonaldland Friends movie, he was Grimace and the Hamburglar rolled into one.
