Aside from the Military bases, did anyone see anything in regards to an event in honor of the 4th of July? Perhaps one where large amounts of U.S. beef will be consumed? Not that I care, just interested.

No, it's a work day in Korea since it's not Korea's independence day, but that's on August 15th.

Most people wouldn't have detected any arrogance from his words. He just asked if any Americans were having a party to celebrate their special day...just like Canada Day, or St Georges Day, or St. Patricks Day.

Eeerrrgghhh..... Go shove your head into a squatter john. And don't forget to flush it afterwards. I've been in Korea over two years dick-face and celebrated my special day last year in pride, with a huge picture of George Bush on my ass. Then we listened to music from Boston, Bruce Springsteen, and Guns N Roses. What did you do my insignificant friend? Eat ramyen and play with your teenie weenie? America rocks I don't give a *beep* what you say.

Sounds like a setup in order to encourage a bunch of absent minded Americans into getting their asses kicked by a bunch of more absent-minded irrational Anti US Beef demonstrators. No thanks. I'm not that stupid. Although wearing the cape sounds like fun, I would only do it with boxing gloves and a gas mask on.

I would say hit Itaewon or Songtan. Songtan should be cool in the early evening. I was there in May for a stag night, and the bar had free Bar B Q going on (with steaks) right across from the Osan main gate.

There's a baseball game in Jamsil. Unfortunately Curt Schilling will not be there.

"America rocks..." Hmm?! Which is why, presumably, you've been in Korea for over two years.

"....celebrated my special day last year in pride..." Excellent!
I always thought it was about that part of YOUR history when you gave the native Americans blankets infested with small pox so you could steal their land, at least that's what an American friend told me, but obviously I've been mislead.

Why not go home though to celebrate? I'm sure they'd love to have you back.

Yes, you're right. America is the only country whose inhabitants ever did anything murderous or immoral. You're a moron, chica.

"Um, *beep* you?"

Why that would be lovely darling.

I could put an evening aside, drape myself in something red, white and bluey .... and maybe even play some of that music you like.
Of course it would mean meeting in person ... and are you absolutely sure you can, "raise a smile?" outside of cyberspace?
You know a girl can't wait forever ...........Lover!
