FYI I think you may have meant to post your response in another thread.

Lame ducking is what happens to administrations near the end of the term in office.

And now its a gerund. Crying or Very sad

I'm sorry guys. I know one of the glories of the English language is its flexibility, but using 'lame duck' as anything but in the traditional way grates on my sensitive nerves. Fingernails on a blackboard. Have at it if you will, but I'll have to go in the kitchen and gag myself with a spoon.

Lame ducked rhymes with fucked. Okay. That's why I think I must have used it. I honestly confess that I did not really put too much thought into it.

I do not doubt that the Administration has discussed and/or is discussing military options in Iran. I would hope that all American govts continue to discuss and debate all options before deciding and acting.

Of course they do. They'd be irresponsible if they didn't. Making plans for all contingencies is a large part of their job. From time to time I pull out an old article about the invasion of Canada plans from early in the last century. There's a certain emotional gratification to it.

From re-reading the OP I get the distinct feeling that Kuros and I are on to something. It has the feel of a message to Iran.

Well...
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22lame+ducked%22&btnG=Google+Search

We do appear at no. 2, so pretty cutting-edge.

However, given 435 results, I think netizens (perhaps quite unconsciously) are right now in the process of lame ducking the traditional form.

Oh, and by the way, the article doesn't say that Hersh talked to Cheney. If Hersh is just making it up, he's open to libel. You could also just say that his information about Congress is hearsay. For the New Yorker to run it, that means they believe he has a credible source.

No, you're just a neo-nazi who makes light of dead Iraqis, no different than a Holocaust denier.

Also why ought the US be charged with those the insurgents or Al Qaeda kill?

Al Qaeda was unable to go on their killing spree until we destroyed Iraq's military and means of national defense. The only people able to defend Iraq were the lowly insurgents.

Not even the ones shot by Americans? That's the equivalent of saying that it wasn't the fault of Germany that Soviet soldiers died in WWII.

The only neo nazi here is you. IN fact you are the first neo nazi sex tourist .Your idea of service to your country is to show prostitutes all around the world what great lovers Americans are.

This was a gem:

You can have a go with a perfect 10 in RLDs for 70,000 and they even offer a bareback option. Women in their forties or fifties in barbershops are 70,000 to 90,000. I read on the ISG that there are some grannies in Suwon's RLD available for like 20,000. Anmas are apparently 180,000 to 200,000, but I don't see why any guy would pay that unless he just desperately wanted a rimjob. Rolling Eyes

You think the insurgents who are fighting to conquer Iraq are defending Iraq?

They are fighting to conquer Iraq.

In fact they were the ones who sided with Al Qaeda. But you and accurate information (unless it is about where the hookers are ) don't go together.

The insurgents are fighting to conquer Iraq cause they can't win an election.

By the way didn't you get slapped around in a red light district by some 25 year old punk. I thought it was so funny. Yep you are such a tough guy.
I think it happened cause a) you got a face people want to punch and b) he thought you were a wuss.
