Is it bad, like it can damage, if I put two sticks of RAM in my computer and they are not of the same speed? Will it simply lower the speed of the faster stick? Will it make any difference at all? |

The slower stick will decide the speed for both of the sticks. I don't see any other problems. Just make sure that the type of the RAM is same (DDR vs. DDR2, EEC vs. non-EEC) and they run with same voltage.
Anyway, because the prices of RAM are so low now, just get two identical sticks. |
