Where can you get gas for 5k per gallon?

At 1950 won per liter (7722 won per US gallon) it is around $8 per gallon.

Last I saw it was around W1,850 / liter which is about W7,000 / gallon. When I hear my folks back in the US complaining that gas is now $4 a gallon, I tell them that the US' gas prices are finally starting to catch up to the rest of the world!

It seems that most people here just say "50,000 won please" and don't worry about how much gas they're getting. But with these little cars, it's enough to last a while.

t, there is an old gas station hidden in the "mirage", much like
a traveller in the desert, where gas was 25 cents a gallon.

My favorite thing about Korea is I'm out of L.A. driving hell and can walk to work.

Your post is foolish. Do the math like others stated. Enjoy public transportation!

whether or not it lasts a while depends how much driving you do...

I'm out in the sticks and complained to my adult students that it takes a hundred thousand won to fill up my car. they explained that I should only put in fifty thousand at a time. then it doesn't cost so much. uhhh...okay gents. that's logic.
