So I'm staying home tonight, I'm bloody starving and I have my heart set on pizza. These are my problems:
1. I'm to much of a *beep* with Korean to order on the phone.
2. I've had a tough week and therefore I'm too lazy to walk any distance.
3. I haven't lived in this neighborhood for long, so I don't know places.
I live near the Indigo restaurant, there is a pizza place just a notch or two up the road from there. Any good? If not, where else? |

Hey, you're talking about DoReMi pizza, right? It's decent. Nothing special, pretty typical Korean pizza. Their chicken, though... best fried chicken I've had in Korea. Get the sauce chicken. |

| I like Pizza School, its dirt cheap (5-6,000 for a pizza) and pretty good (the dough isn't frozen), a bit away from Indigo though... |

| Korean pizza joints don't use real cheese. I don't eat Korean pizza. In fact, it shouldn't even be called pizza, IMHO. |

I kind of agree with you, but back home neither does Dominoes or Pizza Hut. It's not cheese but a cheese product. If you want real pizza, you get the buffalo mozarella, the parmegiano regianno (here http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=KmZ28NIQPbM) and make your own dough and use your own toppings (thick cuts of pepperoni). But you can't make homemade pizza here cause there aren't any ovens.
I stopped eating this kind of food in Korea and eat healthier, but I do miss it sometimes. |

Not in my apartment anyway I've talked to my students about this, they do exist, certainly, but relatively rare comparted to the States, where even the lowliest apartment will have an oven (at least in Cali). |

Yes i'll cosign on Pizza school, although they put too much onions on some pizzas. But the pepperoni was greatness, a lot better than the $19 medium pizza from Dominos.

| Will I be able to find good pizza in Korea, preferably Chicago style? How about on Jeju island? Probably not... |

Some places offer, at an additional cost, 100% natural cheese topping. The Korean for this is 자연산 치즈 (ja-yeon-san chi-jeu). It's worth asking for it and paying the extra buck or two if they do carry it. Tastier and less greasy than the default stuff. |

Is there a website or somewhere to find out where all the Pizza School locations are in Seoul? |

http://www.pizzaschool.net./?m=s
It's a Korean site, but if you know where you live (which I assume everyone does..) you'll be able to find it. If you need help, I can help out..
Basically, click on what province/main city you live in on the main map, ie if you click on 서울 you'll get a little map of seoul to your right.
click on what 구(Gu-區) you live in, and underneath you have your list with names, numbers, addresses, additional information and even links to maps. |

coincidentally, I've always seen Pizza School locations VERY close to public schools.
Usually within 1 block of an Elementary school. |
