I waked past the dog tied to the rope so short he can't even stand up fully straight this morning as I do every morning. But he was wetting himself with excitement because there was another little multese poodle with him and they were getting to know each other. The next thing the owner of both dogs rushed out and picked up the the poodle, kicked the dog tied to the rope and rished the poor poodle to the safety of the home.
A few things wrong with the story.
1) Why the hell do Korean tie dogs to ropes like this ? If it's the meat then all that suffering for 1 or 2 meals ? Was the dog once "cutie" and now they just see now use for it , so it up and forget about it ?
The irony is there is a perfectly good fence and yard around this house they could let the dog roam in. There's an element of sadism to it all.
2) Why the hell do people keep dogs as fashion accessories ? Trust me a dog has no interest in being dressed up and having it's hair done. I want to kill everyone when I see this bollocks. |

Ditto. A dog is a dog and shouldn't be given as a present or an accessory. Someone I know was given a dog as a present and the dog bites, does go outside, etc. I have the dog in my lap and treat it like a dog...guess what...no biting. Stupid humans... |

Right. Koreans also seem to have trouble with the concept of training a dog. Getting a dog here for many people seems a purely narcicistic thing : great as long as it's cute , you can personify it and it gets you attention. Whereas I've always seen having a dog as something of a loving sacrifice you make with at least equal thought for the well being of the animal. |
