|
|
A friend of ours came across a homeless guy in Itaewon during the week who was selling his two dogs. His Korean colleague translated for him, the guy was only relatively young but was a little "out there" - the gist of it was supposedly he could no longer afford to look after his dogs so he wanted someone else to take them.
Our friend bought his young Beagle (she was a bit grubby but very friendly) for a small fee and took her straight to the Chung Wha vet to get her checked out so that hopefully she could be adopted to a good home.
It turns out that she has a relatively mild case of heartworm (so it was a good thing she was taken to the vet) but that is being treated and she will be over it very soon. Otherwise she is in perfect health. Dr Kim estimates she is about 9 months old.
Unfortunately Chung Wha's boarding facilities are relatively full at the moment so they can only keep her for one or two more days - hence she needs a foster home or permanent home rather urgently. Anyone interested in meeting her please PM me or contact either Dr Kim or Sohee at the Chung Wha animal hospital in Itaewon on 02 792 7602

I think it's twice each month, but especially in summer, there are occasions to sell your puppy at Moran Market. Line #8. Try there. He looks like a healthy one and I'm sure he'll go fast! |

If you need a foster I can do it.
Also there is a Fund raiser for the dog shelter next friday may 23rd at Rocky Mountain in Itaewon and there should be people looking to adopt dogs coming to that....
regardless though I can foster him if needed....I've foster a handful of dogs from the shelter and we've just gotten down to one again and we always seemed to get bumped up to 2 so I'm all for it.. |

Little Beagle still needs a home.
Ryan has kindly offered to foster her, but we would really like to find her a permanent home if possible before we decide on a foster home.
She is really sweet, either Dr Kim or Sohee from the Chung Wha vet can confirm her personality, genersal health etc - please give them a call on 02 792 7602 if you are interested in meeting her. |

There is a beautiful beast of a dog down my way.
It is a large (really large) husky thing that is chained up in a tiny space.
I am sure the lady would sell it for a bit of cash and it could be saved.
Really friendly, a great nature and loves a cuddle, but it's too big for my place even for a short period of time. It's a big dog.
Shame to see it not getting the exercise it needs. |

Sadly, they guy who adopted the Beagle has brought her back to the Chung Wha vet this week - he didn't say why, just dropped her back and left....
So she is looking for a home (again).
Anyone who would like to meet her please ontact Sohee or Dfr Kim at the ChungWha Animal Hospital in Itaewon on 02 792 7602 - please come and meet her, she's such a friendly dog I guarantee you will love her! |

That is sad and unfortunate. It's too bad that no further information was given at the time the guy dropped her at the vet. Poor little girl . |

Beagles are ultra high maintenance for such small dogs and and tend to suffer from extreme seperation anxiety. Best suited for someone who works at home and is preferably deaf since the howling can drive you insane. |
