Yeah, you heard me. Want to make a political statement? Don't go to city hall and yell at the communists and the nutjobs with nothing better to do.
Just buy US beef when it becomes available. Patronize restaurants that advertise US beef is used inside.
Eat it as much as possible. EAT IT!
I plan to LIVE by this philosophy and expect others to follow my example.
Who's with me? |

Costco has Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce and A-1. Prepare for the feast to come. |

Agreed, the beef being sold currently has been in frozen storage for the better part of a year.
I have heard unconfirmed reports that US beef is flying off the shelves. I don't have to buy it to protest. Others are doing that for me.

Yeah, I heard that about selling beef, too. Apparently two million protesters don't speak for all 50M Koreans. |

Don't worry. The frozen beef is now gone. It was reported to have sold out in about a day.
Koreans want cheap beef, and it's become readily apparent that these protests are not at all a voice for the Korean public as a whole. |

OP, why are you advocating people to buy U.S. beef? Do you have shares in the cattle companies?
I'm not American, but even if I were, I wouldn't give a damn if Koreans bought U.S. beef because the only ones who would see the benefits of the sales would be the beef industry and Uncle Sam if he collects taxes from them. The beef industry isn't going to pat you on the back for promoting its product and give you a free steak.
Actaually, America profits in a different way if nobody buys U.S. beef. America would reap environmental benefits. Right now the aquafers in the America are being sucked dry by the beef industry to quench the thirst of those thirsty cows. The fertilizer run-off which comes from the growth of the animal feed is polluting the rivers there too.
If you want to know what's happening in detail, read Diet For a New America by John Robbins. |

Actually, if US ranchers cant sell beef theyll sell their land, and all those green fields of grass that cows graze on will be turned into housing, power plants, businesses and malls. Ive seen it happen. |
