If I type SEOUL in the search box I get a blank white screen. Does anyone else have this problem or know why this is?

It's pretty frustrating because I have some basic questions but I don't want to be flamed with "use the search function!"

I get that with other commonly used words as well. I think the blank page is caused by too many search results.

The search function on this site is as useful as a 3 dollar bill. Get used to it. It's outdated software and programming.

Try putting the following in to Google

site:forums.eslcafe.com/korea seoul

As the previous poster has said the reason for the blank page is that your search is pulling up too many results. Just using "Seoul" is just too wide a search request. Narrowing the search down by adding more words to the search and narrowing down by only checking for one of the forums and/or specific dates may also help. I personally know that when I have done that I have often come up with at least some results rather than just a blank screen.

What sorts of specific information are you looking for?

You want search results for all 7000 plus entries with the word, "Seoul" on this site?

Just go to google and type in this:
seoul site:http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/

Then it will give you results like this:
