I'm not trying to justify abortions, I'm simply asking. I've never argued for or against abortions in my entire life so whether it's a "usual tactic" or not means nothing. Should rape victims who get pregnant be permitted abortions? |

What I'm seeing there, is that Chris2007 just said he values a potential child's human rights more than he does an actual woman's. Adoption is one option, but some women suffer an awful lot during pregnancy and it can bring about a lot of other health concerns like gestational diabetes etc. That's an awful lot to put someone through, just to satisfy your own principles.
Rape victims are one issue, but what about the offspring of alcoholic or drug addicted women? The kids born with terrible health and mental impairments. Foster care isn't kind even to the average healthy kid, much less ones with special needs. I'd like to see all the fetus fetishists either start coming up with ways for society to cope with these kids, before they force their morals judgements on women's bodies. |

And he does not believe that "races" should mix. He believes the bible tells him so. He's also divorced from his wife. The bible is pretty clear on that too. That's a sin. He made a pledge to god. He's broken that. To wit, if it's not convenient for him, he ignores that part of the bible. |

But you do this all the time in the evolution debate. You bring up exceptions (ie scientific fraud) as if it's the rule. Now you'd like to change the rule?

You don't think there's something absurd about an entity powerful enough to have created the universe relying on our belief for it's self esteem?

Yes, Peppermint: you are responding to a poster who openly hates and despises Jews.
Zenas, Aquafresh, and a few others from the lunatic fringe have infested this forum and aim to spread their madness. They bully, they hurl insane allegations, etc. This represents nothing less than full-blown depravity.
Anne Frank and the Holocaust, the Moon, 9/11, the list goes on.
These people even stand apart from the political and religious extremists here in the Current Events forum. I disagree with the political and religious extremists, but would not ban any of them. But I do not understand how we can tolerate posters such as Zenas and the hate he preaches in our midst.
I, for one, want him gone. As far as Aquafresh and whoever she or he truly is, we need to shoot that thing before it reproduces. |

The smear tactics of those like gopher use are not having the affect they used to have. Too many are waking up to the truth. More and more of us have had enough of the lies.
Not hard to get pissed off once you realize you've been lied to as much as we have all our life. And 9/11 should have woken you up. If the lies and cover-up of 9/11 didn't wake you up, you are in a denial coma.
