Then they did a *beep* job. Also, your reading comp sucks. The US AS A COUNTRY has not existed for 10,000 years. Saying that is like saying North Korea AS A COUNTRY has existed for 10,000 years.

there's the history of the government, and the history of the land. if you believe the two are seperate, that is your choice, but that just reflects your poor understanding of American history.

There's no freaking way that JAD is a Berkeley alumni - read his atrocious spelling, grammar, and take note of his failure to understand basic logic or to construct a cogent argument.

JAD is a 14-15 year old high school student who wags school so that he can troll the ESL message boards.

land shapes you as a person and your being as well.

but you do realize that people have been in America for 10,000 years right? Are you saying they don't count at all? their miscegenation and genocide (which was legal at the time) simply doesn't matter and should be forgotten? you realize they are the ones who invited the pilgrims to America and helped them out right? Do you know what the thanksgiving holiday stands for?

thats your choice entirely. But certainly, your perspective is not a mature one in academia. But that goes back to my ranking point. but its my mistake assuming teaching english is "academia". Laughing

Now, now. Let's have no more of these personal attacks on Attila. Lest we forget, he came here with the noble intention of stamping out the rampant anti-White women misogyny that has made Dave's ESL Cafe the drunken frat party -- no wait, the mattress room at the drunken frat-party -- of Internet messageboards. Even if it takes him 80 posts a day to do it. (Seriously. August 29th. Hey, I was curious.) And I think you all owe him a big apology and a debt of sincere gratitude. I know I do.

Guru:
How do you manage to make me laugh and occasionally THINK at the same time.
Isn't that illegal? Surely dangerous for me. Wink

If that board represents the finest Asia has to offer, they're in big trouble.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But only slightly less well known is this: "Never go in against a Gyopo when death is on the line."

Some areas seem to be worse than other. Sinchon may not be the ideal place to take you Korean GF.
