Thinking of joining the anti-FTA crowd here. May go to Seoul and join the beef protesters this weekend, as the protests are about more than just beef.

If the USA rulers actually gave working Americans access to decent employment opportunities, those workers would be able to afford US beef and US capitalist minions wouldn't have to scour the globe hunting for buyers of US products.

See you in Seoul. Look for the white guy with the bloody head bandage and bandana with "FuckUSA elites" written on it.

Oh wow! This has got to be the work of a liberal arts education?

Question: Is the school you work for a private enterprise?

See you on the first plane outta here. Why are you protesting for American workers rights in Korea(a country that has far less workers' rights than the US, especially for foreigners)?

Why is it the government's responsibility to create jobs? Hint: It isn't. Government's role is to govern.

Hint for you, Urban. The government is an illusion. The elites control all in the 'land of the free'. It's okay, though. I used to think like you back in the day.

The protests are about more than mad cow and the FTA, but those things arew getting all the news, and that's mostly what we foreigners are interestied in. The other things are worth protesting.

2MB is bad news for a country that already has some bad news here and there.

This is just silly.

Every single human being living in America, outside the prison system, even those on welfare, can afford to eat American beef on a regular basis, daily if they so choose.

Even homeless beggars can panhandle enough in a few minutes to buy a quarter pounder at McDonalds.

Bringing American beef to Korea is good for Korean consumers and good for Korea's economy. It will do more to benefit Korea than it will to benefit America. It will have a negligible impact on American farmers, exporters and meat packers. It will be a major benefit to Korea.

There is a whole lot wrong with America. There is a lot to complain about the fascist-socialist welfare-warfare statist government. But the only mad cows in this situation are those out protesting.

Americans have no beef with beef.

But, go ahead. Have fun protesting. A little screaming could be good for the 서울.

Tobias, it's been stated numerous times on this board that it's illegal for E-2 holders to protest. I'm not sure of all the ins and outs of this, but if you are on an E-2, might be something you want to think about. From what I've seen, 2MB is pretty hardnosed about cracking down on illegalities with regards to these protests.

Not if you wear a bloody head bandage. If you find yourself in a paddy wagon, you can just say someone hit you on the head and wrote "FuckUSElites" across your forehead.
