OK, so two quick questions. One, does anyone have a somewhat firm, recent range for the cost of bringing pets back to the states from SK? Second, what are the top say 5 things I will get to Korea and say crap, why didn't I bring that? Some things like deodorant and razors I know I mean things a little more obscure. Thanks vets I appreciate you.

More oatmeal and Smuckers natural peanut butter. Pictures of relatives and friends.

Really, you can't take enough on an airplane unless willing to pay more money for an extra bag. Usually you don't know your mailing address until like 1 to 2 weeks in, but you can prepare a box before leaving home and have someone mail it to Korea for you once you give them your new address.

Bring,
1. Enough money to escape.
2. Western branded condoms.
3. Over the counter medicines.
4. Your favourite snack
5. Spare copies of trasnscipt, degree, CRC for when you get fired after your first week.

Don't bring,
1. Deodorant(you can get this at emart/homeplus and many other stores)I don't bother since people avoid me anyway.
2. Dogs or cats, you won't get a place large enough to keep them and certainly not with a garden.
3. A cellphone, you'll have to buy a Korean one to get connected.
4. Your girlfriend, she's fat.
5. An alcohol addiction, you'll get no help here and it'll only get worse.

Lol well hopefully I will last more than one week but thanks for the sentiment lol, I dunno if there would be enough time for a spare official background check, that was a pain in the @ss man. So come on anyone else have any good ideas for me?

Why not bring deodorant? It's small and you (or at least I) need it after a 16 hour flight.

Even my little neighborhood mom & pop convenience store has Doritos.

The more obscure herbs and spices if you cook. You can get cinnamon, basil and rosemary here.

Sheets are a blessing to have - if you live rural you can't find anything but those plasticy doona-type things. This site is a good resource for that stuff though - buying sheets off an exiting FT was the best thing I ever did!

Other than that there's nothing really that I regret not bringing, mind you I'm pretty low maintenance in that department. Bring your common sense & sense of humour & everything will be fine (a cliche but a good 'un).

I've never seen any real doritoes for sale here. I've seen those rip-offs that aren't nearly as good.

OTC meds... a serious, serious supply.
I'm sick, again. I've been here since March, and this is my 6th cold.

Wario took Tums, Pepto-Bismo tabs, Tylenol, Benydryl. He had an eye exam and got new glasses so his old pair can be the spare, and four boxes of contacts for each eye.

He took his sheets, pillow cases, even a down comforter in those plastic vacuum bags... they work really good for squishing stuff down.

He bought a power converter from Radio Shack and his cousin gave him her old one that she used for a semester in the UK a few years back.
