The teachers are singing:
Jinger bearrs, jinger bearrs, jingerr all the way. Oh what fun it is to lide in a one holse open slee-ai-hay.
I dont even correct them, it's just too funny and cute. |

Generally I only correct the Korean teachers if they ask my advice. Too tactful to constantly point out their mispronunciations... |

I found myself singing Christmas carols this week and noticed the general abscence of them. In Australia for the whole month of december they are virtually rammed down your throat but not here. I like it. I was singing Silent Night to myself today. |

Sounds a bit like me! Who knows what the words REALLY are... I just taught "Oh Christmas Tree" to some 6 year olds and was quite surprised by the REAL words |

The kids at my church thought the minister was going to be God one day. Why? Because his name was Howard.
Our Father who is Art in Heaven, Howard will be they name. |

Me too. When I did the hogwon thing it felt Christmassy for the entire month of December. Yet now, I only feel this way at western restaurants here. I sang the entire version of let it snow to a few coworkers norrebang style the other day! I decorated my desk and installed a Christmas lights type screensaver! Yet to me, this does not feel like Christmas. |

Ive been here a long time, too long...korean teachers tried to get me to "sing" with my kids as a lesson plan, in which my response was..."I don't do singing" |

That's too bad. I normally don't sing. In fact, Noraebongs are avoided. But for Christmas, starting tomorrow we will be singing Christmas songs.
I gotta get into the Christmas spirit somehow. There is no snow over here in Busan. |
