You're absolutely correct. Why, not a single Korean person would even think of marrying a foreigner...oh wait...

Dunno when. When my husband ties up loose ends and finishes up his business here, it's a complicated story.

Don't get me wrong, Korea has no appeal. I only stick in Korea for the sake of my marriage. Nothing else.

Look here. Some people have been treated badly in this country, they have the right to be angry.

Koreans hated on me first, only fair I retaliate. If the Koreans were actually friendly, my story of Korea would've been much nicer. But nope, lotta them Koreans are racist, that's just the way it is. Racism is wrong, I'm not going to love racist people.

Sometimes Gyopos and Caucasians come to Korea and get celebrity treatment, just because they're from America or Canada. They gotta realize that some other races don't get treated very well in Korea.

Like if an African American came to Korea and wasn't treated very well, I wouldn't blame him for disliking Korea. It's his experience in Korea which led him to think the way he does.

What if your boyfriend was really hot, but occasionally made mildly racist comments when he was drunk? Would you dump him?

I've found that something as simple as getting some exercise can actually do wonders to improve your general outlook on life, as well as your self-esteem. I know it's very hot out right now, but why don't you try dedicating one hour every night to some much-needed exercise? I promise you won't regret it!

I can tell you felt very strongly about this, as you saw fit to post this three times. No, four.

"Koreans hated on me first, only fair that I retaliate"
Eye for an eye, huh?

It's true. Many Koreans act differently to different-coloured people. that doesn't mean all of them do. It's not exactly fair to Koreans that you hate the whole lot of them because of your experience with the bad apples.

Through the years I've had a few friends from southeastern Asia, the people lots of Koreans seem to avoid. All of them were right cool people and I still keep in touch. We don't all hate other people based on race. Maybe it was a personal thing -_-

"... Maybe it was a personal thing ..."

Of course, it would become that. Your skin color is part of your person - the part of your person that everyone immediately sees.
If you are sensitive, and you hear people talk about your skin color, or you are put into odd or even difficult situations because of it, happening often enough it would become unpleasant.

If only three percent of people in public don't like what your skin color perceives you to be, so they are holding discriminatory views, so three in a hundred people, that's three people on a subway car, three people at a bar, thirty kids of an eight-classed grade at school, countless people when you walk down Chong-no ... the odds are something will happen. Arude stare, a verbal insult.
Then there are people who view you as simply unique or an oddity and may giggle, point etc. How many would that be, five percent?
Mostly I'd imagine it to be harmless, but repeated again day in and day out it would be hard to bear.
Fair enough Kitty. I hear yah. I think I'd go bonkers Crying or Very sad
