Every shop I know is a stationary one, unless you count those damn vegetable trucks. |

One of the biggest is the Alpha in Namdaemun. It's 4 or 5 stories of stuff. There's not much you can't find there. |

DIRECTIONS
Alpha is not inside Namdaemun Markets itself, but is a shop on one of the main roads around Namdaemun. It's near Gate 1 of the Namdaemun, but you'll be walkiing around the outside of the markets to get there from the subway.
Catch the subway to Hoehyon Station, line 4, and take exit 5.
Exit to the right, and follow the central shopping street down the slight hill till you pass an optical store, and see a staircase and yellow sign with Alpha in blue writing.
...
I cut and paste those directions from another site. It's near all the camera stores. You can also go to City Hall station exit 7 (I beleive) and walk straight for around 5-10 minutes. You'll see all the camera stores straight ahead. It's nestled in there. The sign is yellow.
Inside, get a basket. If you plan on purchasing something from a given floor, take it to the counter and they'll add it up and give you a piece of paper with the total for that floor. Do the same for every floor. After you've gone through all the floors and finished shopping, you go to the checkout on the... 4th floor I think. There is lots of staff there to point you in the right direction.... |
