The girlfriend and I are thinking about staying at either the Blue Mango or Villa Camilla at Station 3. They both look like good places within our price range.

However, it looks like most of the action and the best beach area is around station 1? How far is it from station 1 to 3 and if we plan on doing some partying, would we just be better off staying somewhere closer?

Actually, most of the fun is between station 2 and 3 (since the old market burned down).

You are fine at either of those places and within easy staggering distance from most of the action.

The beach is 3.5km from end to end.

I stayed at Dave's Straw Hat.....its in the Station 3 area. It is a 2 minute walk down an alley away from the beach. But it's great!! It a 15 minute walk or so to the main area around station 2.

But the rooms are pretty cheap and very clean. The staff are all great. It's very quiet!! And that area of the beach is really nice....There aren't many boats parked there, so its good for swimming and chilling on the beach.

If I go back to Boracay, I will definitely stay there if I am looking for something on the lower end of the price scale. I highly recommend it!!
