I have a PAL Xbox 360 and just get black and white picture on the tv in my apartment. I was considering buying a new HDTV but figured these would probably be too expensive.
Is there a way of connecting my Xbox to my laptop so I can view the picture on it's screen?
What about buying a cheap flatscreen computer monitor and using that? |

you tried to be a smartass, but failed.
there are different xbox 360s in different regions, the UK one is a PAL version which does not play on a NTSC tv, all you get is a black and white picture.
so thanks for that waste of time. |

looks like I'm going to have to splash out on a small hdtv then unless I can use a monitor to connect. What's cheaper in Yongsan, 24inch (or thereabouts) flatscreen tv or monitor? If I can use a monitor, do they normally have a headphone socket where I can plu my existing speakers into as I'm guessing monitors don't have built in speakers like tv's. |

ah but it was close
Is it worth putting a little bit more down for a 1080p 32/42 inch tv? that way you can use it for a second screen for your laptop as well.
(sorry for being a smart ass but well it was one of those questions good old google could have answered in a couple of minutes)
best of luck
P.S spliff generally pops in whenever you give a price for something you are going to buy. he can give you links where you could get it at half the price for double the quality. |
