What about 11 years old who won't bow down to "Allah?"

Two schoolboys were allegedly disciplined after refusing to kneel down and "pray to Allah" during a religious education lesson.

"It was claimed that the boys, from a year seven class of 11 and 12-year-olds, were given detention after refusing to take part in a practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped."

Mises I looked at that pdf and it's only the table of contents. While I believe PC can get out of control, again let me state when I only see the media cherry picking 4 sentences from a 300 page document, I'm skeptical.

You sir have never lived in the UK I take it?

You weren't there when my village Oxfam shop was ordered by the local council to take DOWN their Christmas decorations as they were deemed offensive to Muslims.

So Muslims can celebrate there holidays openly (hell there are even Duvali - not Muslim I know - and rasmmadam festivals etc) but The white British must be meek and hide away....

I listen a lot to Dogma Fee America and hear a lot of these stories. I have a fair grasp that PC is running out of control in the UK.

http://www.dogmafreeamerica.com/index.php?post_id=355969

There was recently the case in the USA about the Florida teacher who claimed he was fired for wizardry.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,354327,00.html

See, he did a magic trick for his kids and the fundy principle fired him for being a warlock. Plays nicely in headlines. The story ran pretty far and wide. And I sure do love stories about Christians being bad. However, it turns out in later articles that got less press attention the teacher was a really bad all around teacher and pretty much deserved to be fired.

I'm just saying, I suspend judgment as a rule. So let me repeat: when newspaper are printing only 3 lines from a 300 page guide, I first want evidence they're not merely cherry picking.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud.

That's bad, though I have heard at least one credible story of students in a Canadian univeristy class being made to participate in Buddhist rituals as part of learning about Buddhism. I think some of the flakier multiculturalist profs think that just because it's not Christianity being shoved down the student's throat, that means it must be okay.
